Rochelle Rae Langsev, 83, of Edina, formerly of Bricelyn, died Monday, May 18, 2020, at The Sunrise of Edina Assisted Living in Edina. A private family funeral service will be at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells, with the Rev. Bob Stover officiating. Interment will be in the Bricelyn Lutheran Cemetery, Seely Township, Faribault County. Please follow Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home on Facebook to watch the service live at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Rochelle Langsev

Rochelle Rae was born Sept. 23, 1936, to Harold and Alice (Loge) Lunning in Kossuth County, Iowa. She married Elwood “Woody” Langsev July 2, 1955, at United Lutheran Church in Frost. They settled on a farm between Bricelyn and Frost, where they resided and farmed for over 50 years. Rochelle enjoyed reading, traveling, cooking and entertaining. She was very proud of her flowers and loved gardening. Rochelle was a member of the local Bridge club and the Red Hat Society, where she enjoyed the outings with her friends. She was also a faithful member of Bricelyn Lutheran Church for many years. 

Rochelle is survived by her sons Wade Langsev of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Ryan (Leslie) Langsev of Edina; grandchildren Ian, Megan and Zoe Langsev, all of Edina; siblings Soni (Stan) Matheson of Conger, Gayle (Diane) Lunning of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, Lee Gordon of Hugo; sister-in-law, Audrey Nelson, of Blue Earth; brother-in-law, Lawrence (Edie) Langsev, of Albert Lea; many nieces, nephews and their families.

Rochelle was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Woody, in 2006; and brother-in-law, Dan Nelson.
