1 injured in crash and other reports

One person was taken to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea by ambulance Wednesday morning after a crash at the intersection of U.S. Highway 69 and West Main Street.
Police stated Karl Michael Kimpton, 71, of Wells received injuries deemed not life-threatening.
According to police, Sherri Lynn Jorgensen, 49, of Albert Lea was driving a 2005 Mazda westbound on Main Street approaching Highway 69 when she made a left turn in front of Kimpton, who was driving a 2019 Kia Optima eastbound. The two vehicles collided in the intersection.
Neither driver had any passengers.

Police received a report at 2:45 p.m. Wednesday of theft at Walgreens, 703 E. Main St., the night before.
1 arrested for DUI
Police arrested Alexander Brian Becker, 19, for allegedly driving under the influence at 2:44 a.m. Wednesday after receiving a report of a vehicle that hit a parked car on Foothills Circle.
Hit-and-run crashes reported
A hit-and-run crash was reported at 4:20 p.m. Wednesday at 2400 Consul St.
A hit-and-run crash was reported at 9:17 p.m. Wednesday at 809 Minnesota Ave. The incident reportedly happened between 7 and 9 p.m. Damage was estimated at $1,000.
