Fireworks complaints reported
Police received numerous complaints of fireworks being launched on Third Street in Albert Lea over the weekend.
Items reported stolen
A wallet and phone charger were reported stolen out of a vehicle at 9:16 a.m. Friday at 1442 Academy Ave.
Three guns were reported stolen at 10:36 a.m. Saturday at 307 Winter Ave.
Police received a report at 1:09 p.m. Saturday of a male stealing two Sirius XM antennas and then fraudulently returning them at 2751 E. Main St.
Police received a report at 11:33 a.m. of thefts of flowers and shrubs from flower boxes at 224 S. Broadway. A cushion was also cut on a bench in front of the building.
A license plate was reported stolen at 3:38 p.m. Sunday at 77820 E. Main St.
A golf cart was reported stolen at 3:03 p.m. Saturday at 76783 270th St., Clarks Grove. It was later recovered off of Interstate 90 east of Interstate 35 on 775th Avenue.
2 arrested on warrants
Police arrested Kimberly Anne Bonilla, 37, on warrants at 7:36 p.m. Friday at 1002 Dunham St.
Police arrested Rio Santiago Acosta, 22, on local warrants and cited two juveniles for underage drinking at 12:57 a.m. Saturday at 615 Pillsbury Ave.
1 arrested for DWI
Police arrested Blaine Richard Swenson, 36, for third-degree driving while intoxicated at 11:58 p.m. Friday after receiving a report of yelling and screaming coming from the area near the City Beach and skate park at 300 Johnson St.
Hit-and-run crash reported
A hit-and-run crash was reported at 3:33 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot at 2105 E. Main St.
Assault reported
Police received an assault report at 8:41 p.m. Saturday at 629 E. 16th St.
Shed damaged by fire
A shed was reported on fire at 5:52 p.m. Saturday at 844744 Minnesota Highway 251 in Hollandale.
