Organization: St. John’s Lutheran Community
Project: It’s Never Too Late system
Report: The It’s Never Too Late (IN2L) system provides individual and group activities that are tailored to meet the needs of those living in memory care/assisted living regardless of background, physical or intellectual abilities. The system contains over 4,000 applications of physical, mental, spiritual and educational content. Such systems as IN2L have been valued by regulatory compliance organizations and shown to reduce the need for psychotropic drug therapies.
The tool will allow staff to connect with those suffering from dementia with activities tailored to their specific needs. St. John’s-The Meadows received and installed the equipment on Dec. 17, 2019. IN2L’s company representative was on site that day to train and orientate staff with the equipment.
