Ronald Loren Martinson, 85, Mankato, died Monday, June 15, 2020 at Laurels Peak in Mankato. Due to the current COVID 19 circumstances private family services will be held at this time. Interment will be held at Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery, Mankato at a later date.

Ron was born September 28, 1934 to Moren and Beatrice (Fink) Martinson in Mason City, IA. He graduated from Conger High School in 1952. Ron was untied in marriage to Lois Butenhoff on September 3, 1960 at the First Lutheran Church in Albert Lea. He worked as an over the road truck driver. In his free time Ron enjoyed horses, fishing, listening to polka music, and watching western shows.

He is survived by his wife, Lois Martinson of Mankato; daughters, Kelly Reiland of Lakeville, Kim (Ken) Neidecker of Mankato, Karla (Mike) Bruels of Shakopee; and Kari (Andrew) Johnson of Mapleton; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
