The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch through 7 p.m. Thursday for Freeborn and Mower counties. 

The watch is also in effect in Worth and Cerro Gordo counties in Iowa.  

The Weather Service stated large hail, damaging winds and heavy rainfall are possible at times.
