Star Class: Hawthorne students learn about culture

- The fifth graders at Hawthorne Elementary School have spent time researching different tribes that are native to the United States. They then wrote informational reports about the culture of their tribe and are now creating quadramas to illustrate what they have learned. The students have really enjoyed tying together writing, social studies and art standards all in one project. Provided
