Star Class: Having fun with ukuleles

Fifth graders from Abby Rothstein’s class at Lakeview Elementary School have been learning to play ukulele with their music teacher, Brooke Torkelson. Students at Lakeview eagerly anticipate getting to play ukuleles and are very excited when they finally get to play them in fifth grade. During their ukulele unit, students will develop fine motor skills, practice steady beat, experience chord progressions and have a fun music-making experience together. Provided
