Every fall the Tribune publishes a special section called Impact, which focuses on business and industry in the community.
It delves into new businesses, businesses that have seen growth in the last year and other business trends taking place in the area.
It also includes columns from local economic development leaders and city officials about things they are working on with economic development, bringing in jobs and other factors that affect the workforce.
If you have a business big or small that has seen great growth this year or have a suggestion for a business that you’d like to hear more about, please send us your suggestions to news@albertleatribune.com.
The Impact edition provides a snapshot of the strides made in the business community during the last year and what is anticipated in the coming months.
Though it’s still early in the planning stages for the news team, we hope to learn more about some businesses coming and expanding on the south end of town and to take a look at the housing opportunities in Albert Lea, amongst other ideas.
We’ve heard a lot from city leaders in the last few months at City Council meetings that a lot is happening with economic development, and we’d like to dig into that more.
Mark your calendars — the Impact section publishes Sept. 28.
