Arctic blast moving into the region; dangerously cold wind chills expected

Dangerously cold temperatures are slated to move into the area this weekend, combining with gusty winds to create wind chills near 30 degrees below zero.
According to the National Weather Service, temperatures will begin declining Friday into Saturday and then decrease further on Sunday. The coldest wind chills are expected early Sunday and Monday mornings.
Projections call for wind chills to reach 29 degrees below zero Sunday morning in Albert Lea and 28 degrees below zero Monday morning. Conditions will improve Tuesday but still start the day at about 24 degrees below zero.
Wind gusts as high as 33 mph are projected Friday into Saturday with winds otherwise staying at least 20 mph through Sunday.
