The Freeborn County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday recognized members of the Glenville American Legion Riders for their work to fundraise and install the new Freedom Rock and gazebo outside the Freeborn County Courthouse. The project was donated to the county. Scott Kallberg with the Riders group thanked the county for allowing the group to put the rock on county property and thanked the county staff who helped with the project. "I think it's a great addition to the veterans memorial stuff, and you're going to get a lot more people coming to see it. I guarantee it," Kallberg said. County board Chairman Brad Edwin said it was amazing to him that the group put the whole project together, not only providing the fundraising but also the physical work to get it done. Provided
