The tenant farmer is back to farming. But all the farm animals are quite upset because the chickens in the hen house, including the rooster, are no longer safe. The tenant farmer gave the fox, living nearby, the key to unlock the gate into the hen house. The tenant farmer said to the farm animals not to worry, you’re getting upset over nothing.

The fox knows what he is doing; after all, he is unusually wealthy. And the farmer is impressed with all his money. The farm animals become more alarmed as chickens slowly begin to disappear.

Yes, the fox, Elon Musk, is attacking Lutheran Social Service and Catholic Charities. They are labeling the payouts to these social ministries as illegal. Keep in mind the government pays billions to Musk’s own companies. Supposedly the fox is totally objective and innocent but the farm animals are not buying it as more chickens disappear.

Lutheran Social Services and Catholic Charities are lifelines for our communities. They provide refugee resettlement and immigration services, provide disaster response and housing assistance, child welfare and adoption services, mental health and addiction recovery services, food assistance and community support.

Elon Musk, the fox with the key, is attacking the very idea that society should provide care for the most vulnerable. It is time to take the key away from the fox.
