A woman and two young children were injured Saturday afternoon after their vehicle left the roadway on Interstate 90 and struck a tree in Oakland Township.

Andreah Brenae Jimenez, 20, of La Crosse, Wisconsin, was reportedly driving a 2020 Subaru Outback westbound on I-90 when the crash occurred at 12:34 p.m. near milepost 170, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Jimenez, along with her two passengers, Kahliana Iang Jimenez Thang, less than 1, and Josua Vandawt Thang, 2, were taken to Mayo Clinic Health System in Austin for injuries deemed not life-threatening.

Roads were snowy and icy at the time of the crash.

The Hayward Fire Department and Mayo Ambulance assisted at the scene.
