Juvenile arrested for DWI

A juvenile male was arrested for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated and under 21 DWI after a traffic stop at 2:11 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of West Front Street and Spark Avenue.

 

Man arrested for probable cause DWI after car drives into house

Police arrested David Michael Prestholt, 42, for DWI pending blood draw results after receiving a report of a car that reportedly drove into a house at 2:25 p.m. Sunday at 1901 Bellview Lane. Police stated there was probable cause to believe Prestholt was operating the vehicle in violation of the state’s DWI laws and conducted a blood draw through a search warrant. There was damage to the house’s foundation from where the vehicle he was driving struck the house.

 

Burglary reported

Deputies received a report at 2:47 p.m. Friday of a burglary in progress of the old creamery building at 20565 810th Ave. in Hayward.

 

1 arrested on HRO violation

Deputies arrested Pedro Andres Olvera, 50, on a gross misdemeanor harassment restraining order violation on Saturday evening at 203 W. Second St. in Hayward.

 

1 arrested for DWI test refusal 

Police arrested Cassandra Ann Vander Woude, 46, for second-degree driving under the influence test refusal at 1:06 a.m. Saturday after a traffic stop at South Washington Avenue and West William Street.

 

Storage unit door damaged

A storage unit door was reported damaged at 2:26 a.m. Saturday at 2409 Myers Road.

 

2 arrested on warrants

Police arrested David Henry Kruse, 61, on a local warrant at 1:31 p.m. Saturday at 411 Commercial St.

Police arrested Deanna Marie Nicks, 51, on a local warrant at 8:05 p.m. Sunday at 215 Katherine St.

 

Man arrested for drug possession

Police arrested Timothy John Steven, 41, for fifth-degree drug possession and possible possession of ammunition by a prohibited person after receiving a report of a suspicious person at 8:24 p.m. Saturday at 1701 W. Main St.
