St. Theodore drive-thru fish fry

St. Theodore Catholic Church will host their annual drive-thru fish fry from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Friday at the Marian Hall kitchen. The meal includes fish, baked potato, coleslaw, dinner roll and a dessert bar. Cost is $20 per meal. Pre-sale tickets are available for $17 per meal and are available at the parish or school offices.

Just Friends gospel ensemble

Join Oakland Lutheran Church for a performance of the Just Friends gospel ensemble at 10:45 a.m. Sunday at the church. The group plays old-time gospel tunes. Holy Communion will be served at the event.

YMCA family fun night

Beat the winter blues from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Albert Lea Family YMCA for a family fun night. There will be pool time, junior gym activities and bounce houses. The event is free for members and $10 per family for nonmembers.

Ellendale Fire Department fish fry

Support the Ellendale Fire Department Friday at the Ellendale community building for an all-you-care-to-eat fish fry. There will be fried battered cod, firehouse beans, coleslaw and other refreshments. There will also be a small amount of chicken strips for those who prefer. This is a free will donation event with proceeds going to the Ellendale Fire Relief Association to purchase tools and equipment. The meal begins at 5 p.m. and will continue until food is gone.

Wells community health and wellness fair

Wells will host a free community health and wellness fair from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the United South Central high school gym. There will be snacks and refreshments, an army rock wall, information tables, raffle prizes and vendors from the area. The event is open to all ages.
