Police received a report at 1:16 a.m. Wednesday of a burglary at 1515 W. Clark St. A gun was missing.

 

1 arrested for fleeing police

Police arrested Simmakon Phaly, 43, for fleeing in a motor vehicle, fleeing on foot, driving after suspension, criminal damage and warrants after a vehicle chase at 2:52 a.m. Wednesday near East Second Street and South Newton Avenue.

 

Windows smashed out of vehicle

Police received a report at 5:19 a.m. Wednesday of windows that were smashed on a vehicle overnight at 2410 Y.H. Hanson Ave. A wallet was taken.

 

1 injured in crash

One person was reportedly injured after two vehicles crashed at 9:12 pm. Wednesday near North Broadway and East Fountain Street. The person was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System by private vehicle.

 

Break-in reported

Police received a report at 9:27 p.m. Wednesday of a break-in at 409 Lynwood Drive.

 

Theft by fraud reported

Deputies received a report at 11:58 a.m. Thursday of theft by fraud of a resident on 283rd Street in Clarks Grove. The caller stated she had lost money in a scam.

Police received a report at 1:35 p.m. Thursday of theft by fraud of a resident on Maplehill Drive.

Police received a report at 6:34 p.m. Thursday of theft by fraud of a person on Autumn Street.

 

1 arrested on warrant

Police arrested Antoine Thompson Jr., 26, on a local warrant at 8:28 a.m. Thursday at 606 S. Broadway.

 

Hit-and-run reported

Police received a report of a hit-and-run crash at 9:40 a.m. Thursday at 906 W. Front St.

 

Truck reported stolen

A truck was reported stolen at 9:05 a.m. Thursday at 1006 S. Broadway.

 

Shoplifter reported

A shoplifter was reported at 10:03 a.m. Thursday at 201 W. Main St.
