Community Sew Day scheduled for April 12

Community Sew Day is slated for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 12 at Bridge Community Church, 2016 S. Bridge Ave. in Albert Lea.

They will be collecting spring and summer-themed placemats. Contact 507-402-3304 if you need instructions, dimensions or have questions.

A short class will be offered about tie quilts, and there will be kits and projects ready to sew.

Participants should bring their sewing machines and supplies, a snack or bag lunch and completed projects from last fall.
