Leslie Allan, the son of Howard and Eileen (Cox) Flugum, was born on July 27, 1950, in Albert Lea, Minnesota. Following his graduation from Albert Lea High School with the class of 1968, Les continued his education at the U of M where he studied and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. They were blessed with two children, Allison and Jeff, as well as five grandchildren, all of whom Les loved dearly. In their younger years, Les and Lenore enjoyed camping with the kids and friends. He also enjoyed playing softball with his work colleagues. Les had a passion for golf, and never missed the chance to get on the course whenever he could. Les served as a board member for the Lockheed Martin Retirement Association. Regardless of how busy Les was working or volunteering, he never missed the chance to attend his grandchildren’s sporting events.
