As a Democrat, are you becoming uncomfortable with the leaders of your party acting like loud, crass, foul-mouthed buffoons throwing hissy-fits? If so, perhaps it’s time to disavow your party. It’s embarrassing when our leaders in Congress are so foul-mouthed that we cannot allow our children to listen to the news.

The Democrats’ conduct during Trump’s address to Congress was beyond deplorable. I learned long ago that once you lose your temper, you have lost control of the situation. Add foul language, and you lose the respect of your peers. A level of decorum should be required to serve in public office.

Trump did not establish DOGE, President Obama did, but did not have the courage to allow the committee do its job. Most members of the Democratic Party are so accustomed to life on the gravy train they would not support eliminating the waste.

If we eliminated the waste within our government we could save over a trillion dollars, erasing a large portion of America’s annual deficit.

The hot term of the day is transsexual, usually guys pretending to be girls. If you are the mother or father of a daughter, you would have to be demented to support men participating in women’s sports, showering with the girls and using their restrooms.

Where are the soccer moms who fought tooth and nail for the benefits and protection Title IX provides woman’s sports? Why have they abandoned their daughters?

There are only two sexes, male and female. Any other gender is a figment of a deranged mind. No one under the age of 21 should be given puberty blockers or have any type of sexual surgical alteration. Our youth have been indoctrinated with the idea that if they are unhappy it’s because they were born in the wrong body, and a pill, injection or knife is the only solution. The decision to change the appearance of one’s sex is permanent and should not be made until one is an adult and can understand the long term consequences.

During Obama’s and Biden’s administration DEI (Diversity Equity and Inclusion) became the action of the day. Hundreds of billions have been spent to ensure all government agencies and major corporations were in compliance. In reality these initials should stand for Division, Exclusion and Intolerance. How would you react if you discovered your brain surgeon was hired through the DEI program? Same for the pilot flying your plane, manning the control tower, your accountant or attorney.

How would you feel if you were the best in your profession, but because of your skin color everyone assumed you were a DEI hire? It’s not racist to hire the most qualified — race should not enter the equation.

We are pledged to be one nation under God, not a hodgepodge of identity groups all in conflict with the other, each fighting for dominance.

A little common sense is required to resolve our differences.
