Lakes Cleanup Day
All are invited to help take care of Albert Lea’s outdoor spaces at Lakes Cleanup Day beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday at Frank Hall Park. Garbage bags and gloves will be provided.

Meatball dinner
Community Lutheran Church will host a meatball dinner from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday in the lower floor of the church building at 106 Third St. SE in Geneva. There will be a freewill offering and carry out boxes will be available.

Harps Walk
Join St. John’s Lutheran Community for an hour of beautiful harp music from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday at St. John’s Fountain Lake campus. There will be several stations of harp music played by award-winning musicians and students. St. John’s Campfire Cafe will be open to purchase lunch from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.

Spring into the Y
The Albert Lea Family YMCA will host a weekend of fun and healthy activities this Friday and Saturday. On both days, all group fitness classes will be free and guests can get a free body composition scan and tour the facility. Food trucks will be on site starting at 11 a.m. Friday. Nel’s Diner food truck will be at the Y from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Healthy Kids Day activities will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday and will include community partners like 4-H, Just 4 Kix, STARS Mentoring, the Albert Lea Art Center and others, in addition to running activities in the gym and bounce house fun.

Patsy Cline tribute concert
There will be a tribute performance with the music of Patsy Cline at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Marion Ross Performing Arts Center. Joyanne Parker and band will present a memorable night of authentic Patsy Cline’s music. Tickets can be purchased online, by phone or at the box office.
