Polka Party at Edgewater Bay Pavilion
Enjoy an afternoon of music and fun with a polka party from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday at Edgewater Bay Pavilion. There will be live polka music by the Dan Stursa Band as well as cake, bars and coffee. This event is hosted by the Albert Lea Convention and Visitors Bureau in partnership with Oak Park Place and St. John’s Lutheran Community.

Albert Lea city Easter egg hunt
Albert Lea Recreation will host an Easter egg hunt Saturday at Central Park. There will be three age divisions with assigned times for egg hunting: ages 4 and under will be from 9 to 9:30 a.m., ages 5 through 7 will be from 9:40 to 10:10 a.m. and ages 8 through 11 will be from 10:20 to 10:50 a.m. Participants are asked to bring their own basket or bag to collect eggs and arrive no more than 15 minutes before their scheduled age group.

NRCC Easter egg hunt
All children age 10 and under are invited at 10 a.m. Saturday to the New Richland Care Center at 312 First St. NE for an Easter egg hunt. There will be prizes and the Easter Bunny will pay a visit as well. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Lake Mills Care Center community Easter egg hunt
The Lake Mills Care Center will host a community Easter egg hunt at 5 p.m. Wednesday at the care center located at 406 S. 10th Ave. E. Children are asked to bring their own basket or bag to collect the eggs and can also wear their Easter best. The Easter Bunny will be at the event to take photos. In case of inclement weather the egg hunt will be moved indoors to Mills Harbour Assisted Living at 311 S. 10th Ave. E.

Toys For Tots darts tournament
A.B.A.T.E. of Iowa and the Marine Corps League North Iowa 859 will host a dart tournament benefiting Toys for Tots at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Scarville Bar located at 201 Main St. in Scarville. There will be a $10 buy-in with 50/50 payback, and participants will draw partners.
Winners of the tournament will be invited to donate their winnings to Toys for Tots and receive a trophy.
