I am not the only person in our district who feels we are talking into the wind. Our words sucked into the rush, silenced, going unheard.
Mr. Finstad is not listening to his constituents for guidance on how to best serve us! Instead he has fallen into lockstep with the most corrupt man to ever hold the highest office in this country and his hateful, vindictive and unhinged policies.
You, Mr. Finstad, are now complicit in bringing our country to its knees by staying silent while devastating tariffs decimate people’s retirement and savings. Those assets will never be recouped.
You are now complicit in taking the USA from a country that was trusted and admired for the freedoms we worked so hard to put in place for all our citizens, for our compassion, for our reliability, for telling the truth and so much more.
You are now complicit in creating an atmosphere of uncertainty and fear. Seniors are panicked, wondering how they will survive when their Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid are cut or eliminated. Parents wondering how they will care for their special needs children without assistance from Medicaid.
And veterans unsure that the promises that were made to them will be kept.
You are complicit in attempting to dismantle the legal system because Heir Trump isn’t getting what he wants. Maybe he’s losing because what he is trying to do is illegal.
You are complicit in trampling on due process and standing by while human beings are sent to inhumane prisons in another country led by a dictator. Smacks of Nazi Germany?
You, Mr Finstad, have an opportunity to be a hero! You can grow a backbone, stand up, saying enough is enough, and live up to the oath you took upon taking your position as our representative.
Am I, again, talking into the wind, going unheard?
