Are we enjoying the Golden Age promised during the Inauguration speech?

Let’s see, the stock market has gone down, 401K plans are plunging, causing stress for those trying to plan retirement, the real possibility of inflation or depression. Threats of Social Security payments being tampered with hanging over our heads.

Now the news is Head Start is being eliminated and colleges are no longer free to teach anything different that doesn’t comply with the president’s beliefs.

The president is treating his stance on tariffs like a toy he doesn’t want to give to another child because it is his, similar to a 2-year-old. Meanwhile the world is being held hostage, but guess what? Those countries being affected by tariffs are fighting back!

Let’s not forget he pardoned 1,600 criminals who had due process, found guilty and jailed legally. Now it is OK to send immigrants to a terrible prison in El Salvador because they may be criminals. No, they do not get due process. His cabinet sits there grinning and nodding heads like a bunch of bobble heads during the El Salvadoran president visit when he says he can build more prisons, they have plenty of room. This would accommodate more immigrants and home people the president would like to send there. No concern for the Constitution, no empathy for this tragedy.

Congress is like a bunch of playground bullies. Everybody wants to throw the ball, but nobody wants to catch it. No working together or sharing the ball, just continue to make the American people your pawns with nothing getting done except damage.

We are being bombarded every day regarding the president not having to comply with the Supreme Court or judges who have given him due process. Is he above the law?

And remember this is the Golden Age! Chaos!
