All women veterans of southern Minnesota are invited to an open forum on questions regarding benefits, toxic exposure and any additional access to medical care from the new women’s wing being added onto the Minneapolis Veterans Medical Center and more.

Arrangements have been made for Jenna Schmidtke to address these questions on these benefits and others.

Schmidtke is the Faribault County Veterans Service officer, is a member of the National Association of County Veterans Service officers (NACVSO), is the women’s representative of the Minnesota Association of County Veterans Service officers (MACVSO) and Women Veterans Technical Assistance coordinator.

This meeting will take place on Tuesday, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Freeborn County courthouse. Those in attendance should enter through the doors off the parking lot.

Light refreshments will be served.
