The Albert Lea Senior Center recently took a trip to the Sidekick Theatre to enjoy “On the Road Again,” a lively country music concert celebrating three decades of classic hits.

The show had toes tapping and hearts singing as performers brought to life favorites from the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s, capturing the spirit of country legends and timeless tunes.

Before the show, everyone enjoyed a barbecue meal complete with lemonade and a tempting dessert table. Sweet treats included caramel cheesecake, carrot cake and lemon cake — something for every sweet tooth.

If day trips like this sound fun, the Albert Lea Senior Center is the place to be. The center offers several exciting and fun bus trips coming up this summer, including a casino adventure, a scenic Stillwater bus and boat tour, a relaxing visit to Four Daughters Winery and a trip to Chanhassen Dinner Theatres to see “Grease.”
