The city of Albert Lea issued the following construction updates for next week:

• Marshall and Sibley reconstruction: Motorists and pedestrians should be on the lookout for a detour from East Main Street to Front Street due to construction at the intersection of Marshall Street and Sibley Avenue. Crews replaced the watermain on Marshall Street last week and will install the rock base for new pavement as weather permits.
• Splash pad restrooms: Work is set to begin with site preparation in the grassy area near the splash pad at the north end of Broadway Avenue.
