A little over a week from today, the Tribune will publish its annual Summer Times special section, which outlines all of the events happening this summer, not only in Albert Lea but the surrounding area.
Whether you like outdoor activities, music, car shows, art, fairs or one of the area’s small-town festivals, the Albert Lea area is a fun place to be in the summertime.
We hope you use the magazine to map out your summer. There’s lots to offer people of all ages and interests.
Never been to Wells, Bricelyn, New Richland or one of the other area communities for their festivals? We hope you will consider checking at least one out this year.
Organizers in each community are working hard to make them possible, and they always prove to be a lot of fun.
Never been to Thursdays on Fountain, a Bayside Waterski show or Wind Down Wednesday?
Get out and check one of them out.
If you just take the time to check out some of the opportunities available in the community, you’ll quickly learn there’s a lot of fun being offered in our own backyard.
And, if you want to see something else added that we don’t yet have? Consider finding a few friends and teaming up to make it happen.
While it’s a lot of work to plan a community event, it can be very worthwhile.
Get out and support the events we have in our community and help them to grow.
