Judith Ann Karsjens

Judith Ann Karsjens, age 88, passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2025. A funeral service will be held at 2PM on Thursday, May 29th at the First Baptist Church of Clarks Grove with visitation to be held for an hour prior to the service.

Judith was born on May 16, 1937, in Owatonna, MN to Clayton and Marion (Roby) Jones. She grew up in Austin, MN and graduated from Austin High School. On July 2, 1955, she was united in marriage to Delbert Karsjens. The couple had two children, and the family made their home in Clarks Grove.

Judith enjoyed travelling and travelled to 49 states. In her free time she enjoyed cross stitch sewing and reading. In her younger years, she enjoyed bowling league and playing horseshoes.  Judith was a member of First Baptist Church where she served on the board as a deacon and taught vacation bible school.

Judith is survived by her husband, Delbert; children Julie Snell and Barry (Michelle) Karsjens; grandsons, Christopher (Brenna) Mart, Zachary (Bretney Jo) Karsjens; granddaughter, Brittany (William “Mike”) Schulz; great-granddaughters, Annabelle Schulz, Norah Karsjens, Alyvia Karsjens.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clayton and Marion Jones; son-in-law, Roland Snell; sister, Mary; brother-in-law, Ron Vaith.
