The Naeve Alumni and Nurses Club met May 3 in Bethany Hall at First Lutheran Church for their annual scholarship luncheon.
This year, 10 $1,000 scholarships were awarded to individuals entering the registered nurse program.
The nursing school was started in 1912 and graduated its last class in 1974.
The Nurses Club has remained active with a goal to promote individuals to become registered nurses.
The club does not do any fundraising events. The only money comes from gifts, donations and memorials. Any RNs in the area are welcome to join the club.
The classes from 1950 to 1959 were honored guests.
