2 arrested on warrants

Deputies arrested Kyle Andrew Anderson, 38, on a local warrant at 10:52 a.m. Wednesday at 201 First St. NE in Clarks Grove.

Police arrested Eliazar Hernandez, 39, on a local warrant at 6:24 p.m. Wednesday at 1721 W. Main St.

 

Door kicked in

A door was reported kicked in at 11:39 a.m. Wednesday on Indian Hills Road.

 

Theft by fraud reported

Deputies received a report at 8:25 p.m. Wednesday of theft by fraud involving a room for rent. The person had placed a deposit of $500 through a cash app, and the app was able to refund the money.

 

Tax return taken

Police received a report at 11:07 a.m. Wednesday of someone who had filed taxes on the caller’s behalf and then took the return.

 

School bus stop arm violation reported

Police received a report at 12:21 p.m. Wednesday of a school bus stop arm violation that occurred the day before near Ethel Avenue and 19th Street.

 

Attempted identity theft

Police received a report at 1:27 p.m. Wednesday that someone had attempted to forge a signature to withdraw several thousand dollars from a credit union.
