Terry Jean Jensen

Terry Jean Jensen, age 71, of Albert Lea, MN, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN.

Terry was born in Albert Lea on May 24, 1953, the daughter of Chester and Lucille (Dockwell) Olson.

She was preceded in death by the two loves of her life, Douglas Jensen of 40+ years, and Damien Deegan of 10 years; parents and step-dad.

Survivors include her daughters, Angie (Corey) Andresen (and their children, Sydney and Brian), Kris (Geoff) Ongaga (and children, Justine and Alexa (Fern) and Selene Duenes; “step-daughter” Sierra Deegan (and her daughter, Kinsly); sister, Linda (Chuck) Pownell; also survived by her non-official “adopted” daughter, Tanya Classen; best friend and neighbor, Donna Hollrah; nieces and nephews.

After high school, Terry earned her Beauticians License and worked in various salons before owning her own shop, “TJ’s Flair for Hair”. She also worked at Larson Manufacturing for several years prior to retirement. Terry loved traveling with her youngest daughter and family, and saw as much of the world as she could. She loved her bird “Tweety”, whom she taught over 100 words and phrases, Motown music and 80s pop rock, and her tv shows. She also found a new found love at “coloring” on her phone.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 1:00 PM, at First Lutheran Church, 301 Clark St. West, Albert Lea; followed by a reception at the church.
