3rd annual Albert Lea Pride Festival to return to Central Park

The Albert Lea Pride Festival will return June 21 at Central Park for an afternoon filled with live entertainment, delicious food and family-friendly activities celebrating love, diversity and community, according to a press release. The rain date will be June 22.
This year’s festival features a packed lineup, including live performances by Eclipse and Ruthless Ruth, high-energy Zumba Jams with Kristy, food trucks, beer garden, yard games, bounce house, crafts, face painting, community resources and local shopping vendors. The event will run from noon to 4 p.m.
The entertainment schedule includes:

Noon: Eclipse

1 pm.: Zumba Jams w/ Kristy

1:30 p.m.: Ruthless Ruth

3 p.m.: Eclipse (Encore)

4 p.m.: Pride & Pints (at Mom’s Bread Co.)
Following the festival, a Pride & Pints After Party is slated at Mom’s Bread Co. (118 Broadway) starting at 4 p.m. Tickets are available in advance for $20 at the Convention & Visitors Bureau office.
The event is sponsored by Twin Cities Pride, NAMI Freeborn County, Mayo Clinic Health System, BeMobile, Horizon Homes Inc., Albert Lea Recreation, La Michoacana Purepecha and the Albert Lea Convention & Visitors Bureau.
