Bonnie was born in Albert Lea, MN to Donald and Leona (Fedder) Olson on July 26, 1955. She grew up in the Albert Lea area, along with her six siblings, and attended Albert Lea High School. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, where she was baptized and confirmed. She briefly attended college, before going on to work at Target as an asset protection manager.

Bonnie had many hobbies and interests in her life. She enjoyed poker, motorcycling, birdwatching, and boating, but she especially loved gardening. She was more than happy to help beautify a garden with her flowers and always made sure to keep an eye on the bird feeders. When she wasn’t busy with other things, she enjoyed watching Sci-fi movies and reading Steven King novels. She always said that she was looking for something that could scare her.

Bonnie is survived by her siblings Richard (Judy) Olson, Steven Olson, Roger (Amy) Olson, LeAnn Olson, and Gary (Laurie) Olson; nephews Duane, Dean, Michael, Brian, Jack, Lucas, Dustin, and Matt; nieces Angie, Jessie, Vickie, Jenny, Stacy, Alyssa, Megan, Katie, and Lisa; and many great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Donald and Leona Olson, brother Daniel Olson, sister-in-law Diane Olson, sister-in-law Dorothy Olson, and niece Carey Lennie.

In lieu of flowers please donate to Toys for Tots, the Salvation Army, and other charitable organizations, in honor of Bonnie who loved to give gifts to children in need.
