Freddy Ramos Madrigal

Freddy Ramos Madrigal, aged 63, passed away on June 3, 2025, in Mankato, MN. Born on January 21, 1962, Freddy dedicated many years to his career as a tradesman and served as a supervisor at B&H Petroleum for over 10 years before his retirement.

An avid runner, Freddy participated in numerous marathons, holding a special fondness for Grandma’s Marathon in Duluth. His love for the sport was only matched by the love he had for his family.

Freddy is survived by his children, Josh (Carrie) Winjum, Rosita (Andy) Wheelock, Rodrigo (Ashley) Madrigal, and Tiago Madrigal; eight grandchildren, Jamal, Morgan, Devin, Kalie, Olivia, Mason, Willow, and Soleil; and one great-grandchild, Avery. He also leaves behind a large extended family, including his siblings Virginia Ramos Madrigal, Rosie Ramos, Maria (Thomas) Glackin, Ralph Madrigal, Donicio “Nicho” (Lisa) Madrigal, Margaret “Patsy” (Larry Nawroth) Madrigal, Manual Madrigal, Robert Madrigal, Deloris Doyle, Higenio Madrigal, and Billi Joe and Michael (Tonya) Madrigal.

Freddy was preceded in death by his parents, E. Margaret (Ramos) Madrigal and Rafael Madrigal.

A burial service will be held at St. Theodore Cemetery Lakewood Ave, Albert Lea on June 21st at 10 am, with a reception to follow at Marian Hall, 323 E Clark, Albert Lea, MN.
