What a wonderful Saturday afternoon! The St. John’s Luther Place campus dining room was standing room only for a beautiful, inspiring concert by the Lake Song Chorus, directed by Diane Heaney and accompanied by Bob Tewes. The songs were fun, familiar old-time favorites that had the audience singing along, toes tapping and even standing up to participate in swaying and other motions. The choir of 50 members blended so well and didn’t miss a beat. Stories by participants were a very touching part of the concert. A concert is planned for the fall. Watch for its date and time. You will not want to miss it! Thank you to everyone involved and the sponsors who helped fund it.
