I write today over concern about the state of our nation. By now, the only freedom-loving American who isn’t appalled by the actions of the Trump administration is either not paying attention (at all), or is enjoying the carnage we have been witnessing 24/7 since Inauguration Day.

It has become painfully obvious to us that Trump has bad intentions, is not governing in the best interest of the American people and doesn’t actually possess the mental capacity to do so. Personally, I believe Stephen Miller, White House deputy chief of staff, is calling most, if not all, the shots.

Miller has been a self-proclaimed racist and homophobe for all of his adult life and has filled the president’s cabinet with like-minded people. Once you’ve joined the cult-like club, you cannot disagree with the actions and directions coming from the White House, lest you are willing to face uncertain consequences. I suspect Elon Musk found that out the hard way, as he was obviously physically assaulted and immediately expelled after voicing criticism.

To add insult to injury concerning this state of affairs, the Republican Party (nearly all of them) have cowered to this anti-American administration — self-preservation, I suppose. The GOP no longer exists, as they bend and kiss the ring. They need our support if they ever do stand up in opposition.

So many people I have talked to about this say they are afraid as well. But if we are ever to experience another “free and fair” election, time is of the essence. Show your face and opposition at every opportunity, before it’s too late. They’re just getting started. At this rate, I fear that by the end of summer, freedom will be lost forever.
