Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

The second SBR (Simply Built Rigs) event at the fairgrounds far exceeded expectations! My partners, Mason Rafdal, Alec Wangen and I are still in awe! Despite temps soaring over 100 degrees, attendance was incredible and the energy was hot.

Truck/car registration officially began at 11 a.m., yet enthusiasts started arriving at 6 a.m., eager to participate. Over 600 tricked out custom trucks and cars traveled across the country to be part of this event, showcasing incredible, jaw-dropping creativity, horsepower and spirit. The Dyno line was endless, and nearly 20 vehicles participated in the burnout pit with impressive, crowd-pleasing displays. Forty-one trophies were awarded during the show.

What stood out just as much as the engines and builds was respect and patriotism. Participants followed rules, honored the flag, supported our veterans and backed the blue — a powerful reminder of the values that bring our community together.
