July Jamboree
Albert Lea’s annual July Jamboree will be Thursday through Sunday and will have fun for the whole family. Events will include food trucks, a car show, live music, Pelican Breeze cruises, special shows from Bayside skiers and of course, the Third of July Parade and fireworks. The theme for this year’s parade is “Honoring the Past, Celebrating the Present and Marching Into the Future,” and this year’s grand marshal is Mayor Rich Murray. Live music by Jesse & the Medicine Men
Three Oak Vineyards and Winery will host a performance by Jesse & the Medicine Men from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the winery. Jesse & the Medicine Men play classic country music. The group will also perform at Lazy Acre Vineyard later this month as part of their 2025 tour around Iowa and Wisconsin.

Archery at the Boathouse
Children ages 9 to 17 are invited to join Albert Lea Community Ed’s experiential education staff for a morning of archery from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Brookside Boathouse. Participants will learn the basics of archery safety and techniques. Registration is required, and waivers must be completed ahead of time. Pull and Putt Day
Good Shot Golf and Sporting Clays in Emmons will have a special day for guests to take advantage of their most popular offerings Saturday. For $50 per person, participants can shoot 50 targets of sporting clays and follow it up with nine holes of golf. A cart is included. Sporting clays will be open from 9 to 10:30 a.m.

Bricelyn Independence Day
Bricelyn’s Independence Day celebration will be Friday through Sunday and include a pulled pork sandwich meal, a free family movie, the annual Ron Sander Memorial one-mile walk/ run or 5K, a volleyball tournament, a parade and more. More information is available on Page 5.
