Firearms safety classes will start July 16 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in the back room of the Albert Lea Moose Lodge. Other dates are planned for July 23 and 30, as well as Aug. 6 and 13, with time at the range on Aug. 16.

Classes are open to people 12 years old and older. A parent or guardian is requested for registration. A copy of a birth certificate is also required.
