If I were an artist, I would draw a cartoon titled “How are you going to vote?” It would show a fat cat smoking a cigar standing on the front of a yacht. In one hand a glass of champagne; in the other a fistful of hundred-dollar bills still burning that he used to light his cigar. A cartoon text bubble coming out of his mouth reads, “Vote for the big, beautiful tax bill — I need more yachts.” The next panel shows a poor depression-era-looking mother holding her dirty, dusty rag tag 3-year-old child. Their text bubble simply says, “I’m hungry.” Doesn’t get any simpler than that.
