The American Association of University Women will meet at 9:30 a.m. Sept. 8 at America’s Best Value Inn. The program will be given by Dr. Wendy Shannon who will talk about bullying.

The brunch menu will be Grandpa Brue’s pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, fresh fruit, petite cinnamon rolls and coffee. The cost will be $13.

Also a reminder that each beginning school year the group donates school supplies to one of the elementary schools to help the teachers and students for the new year.

Following is a list of some of the common supplies that you can donate if you wish: White Elmer’s glue, 24-count Crayola crayons, large pink eraser, facial tissue, wide-ruled plain covered spiral notebooks, pencil boxed, No. 2 pencils and other common school supplies.
