Motorists will encounter a ramp closure from northbound Interstate 35 to westbound Interstate 90, beginning Monday, as crews resurface the ramp.

Motorists will be detoured during the closure, expected to last through Thursday, weather permitting.

To take the detour from northbound I-35, go east on I-90, exit at Freeborn County Road 26 (the Hayward exit), and then cross over the overpass to return westbound on I-90.

When the project is complete, motorists will experience a smoother ride surface and a safer highway.
