Alan and Susan Blenka of Albert Lea announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Blenka, to Zachary Saugen, son of Debra Saugen of Rochester and Paul and Julie Saugen of Wabasha.

Amanda is a 2002 graduate of Albert Lea High School and a 2006 graduate of Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in nursing. She is a registered nurse at Mayo Clinic Health System in Rochester.

Zachary is a 2001 graduate of John Marshall High School in Rochester and a 2006 graduate of Minnesota State University in Mankato. He is a claims examiner at Mayo Clinic Health System in Rochester.

A wedding is planned for April 13, 2013, at First Lutheran Church of Albert Lea.
