Dean and Bev Leonard of Albert Lea announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda, to Neal Wenninger, of Lafayette.

Neal’s parents are Glenn and Kathy Wenninger, of Lafayette.

Amanda graduated from Albert Lea High School in 2007 and from Northwestern College, Orange City, Iowa, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education. She is a kindergarten teacher with Mankato Public Schools.

Neal graduated from South Central College, North Mankato, in 2009. He was trained as an agriculture service technician. He is employed as a mechanic in the Army National Guard and also farms.

A wedding is planned for June 22, 2013, at Crossview Church in North Mankato.
