Over the last many months we have read many letters to the editor about same-sex marriage amendment.

Don’t be deceived by people who misuse the words, love, freedom and people’s rights to happiness.

A good, Godly Christian loves everyone and hates sin, to love someone you need to be truthful with them.

The only reason this amendment divides a churches, families and friends is the truth of the Bible is not stood on. God made rules to live by, and Satan and man have changed it to fit their lifestyle.

Read all of Romans 1. This chapter has a list of sins in it. In verse 27, lust one toward another men with men. In verse 32, God our creator will have judgement and they which commit such things are worthy of death. So if we love people why help send them to hell?

God gave us two examples of people who lived a sinful lifestyle, Sodom and Gomorrah, and Noah and the flood. The sinners were judged and perished. God does not change his rules for our new lifestyle of sin. Sinners today will also perish and not have eternal life with Jesus.

Romans 6:22: “But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God you have your fruit unto holiness and the end everlasting life.”

Don’t help by keeping sinners in bondage of sin, but set them free to do God’s will, not Satan’s.

We as Christians cannot live a double-standard life, where we worship one way in church and outside of church we agree with sin.

In John 3:8, “He that committeth sin is of the devil.” And Romans 6:23, “for the wages of sin is death.”

Sin is from the devil and God says wages of sin is death. We know where sin comes from, and we know sinners will perish just as God has done in the past and will do in the future.
