National Active and Retired Federal Employees, Chapter 469, met Oct. 9 at the Pizza Ranch in Albert Lea. Current officers were sworn in. President Jonathon Green reported on the National Convention. Speaker was Sue Yost, director of Freeborn County Public Health, explained the many programs available to citizens of Freeborn County. Certificates of appreciation were presented to Peg and Ron Seath for their many years of dedicated service. Next meeting will be Feb. 12, 2013, at the Pizza Ranch in Austin.
