Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea recently welcomed Dr. Ealena Callender, an obstetrician/gynecologist. She now sees patients on the third floor of the clinic.

Callender received her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore. She completed her OB/GYN residency at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. She previously provided general obstetrics and gynecology care at the Center for Women’s Health in Newport News, Va.

Mayo Clinic Health System’s OB/GYN department provides care of women before, during and after pregnancy as well as treatment of disorders of the female reproductive and urinary tract systems.
