Tribune All-Area volleyball 2nd team

The Tribune has named six players to its All-Area volleyball second team.
The players come from Albert Lea, Glenville-Emmons, Alden-Conger, Northwood-Kensett, Lake Mills and United South Central.

Bryn Woodside, junior, setter, Albert Lea
Bryn Woodside was named Big Nine Conference Honorable Mention for her performance this season. She totaled 457 assists, 206 digs and 23 service aces.

Madi Ziebell, sophomore, middle hitter, Glenville-Emmons
Madi Ziebell was named Southeast Conference Honorable Mention this year and Most Impactful Player by her team.
Ziebell recorded the most kills on the team with 172 and also the most blocks with 34.
In addition, Ziebell had 248 digs and 24 ace serves.

Karina Skov, junior, libero, Alden-Conger
Karina Skov was named Honorable Mention in the Valley Conference. She had a 90 percent serving record with 86 set assists. She recorded 299 perfect passes and 504 attacks with 385 digs.

Megan Johnson, senior, left side hitter, Lake Mills
Megan Johnson led the Bulldogs in kills with 255 and attacks with 669. Johnson recorded 66 digs and 26 blocks.

Anissa Janzig, sophomore, middle hitter, USC
Anissa Janzig is a two-year letter winner, a Gopher Conference All-Conference selection and was voted by her team as the Most Valuable Player and Best Offensive Player.
Janzig held the team best record of kills with 237. She also recorded 25 service aces, 45 blocks and 95 digs.

Hattie Davidson, freshman, middle blocker, Northwood-Kensett
Hattie Davidson recorded 211 kills on 558 attack attempts. She also scored 46 aces, made 11 assists, 212 digs and blocked 50 total shots.
