ALDEN — A man was injured Monday night when a pickup rolled on Interstate 90 near Alden.

James J. Taylor, 50, of Titonka, Iowa, was a passenger in a 2004 Dodge Dakota driven by Terry L. Tweedy, 48, also of Titonka.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the Dodge was westbound and hit an icy patch on the roadway. The truck skidded, rolled and landed in the median. The incident report says the rollover occurred at 8:53 p.m. near milepost 143, about three miles west of the Alden exit.

The State Patrol was assisted by the Alden Fire Department and the Faribault County Sheriff’s Office, though it also says the crash happened on the Freeborn County side of the line.

The report states Taylor suffered a minor injury and states Tweedy’s status was not documented. Seat belts were in use, the report says.

Damage to the Dakota was moderate, and it was towed to Albert Lea.
