Albert Lea’s First Lutheran Church and The Arc of Freeborn County will host a free seminar about helping people with disabilities plan their future.

There will be two sessions for the seminar, both on April 23. One will be from 3 to 5:30 p.m. and the second will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Both will be held at the church.

Registration is required by Tuesday by calling Jo Lowe at 377-3469.

The free seminar will be for family and friends who have loved ones with disabilities. Topics will include preparing an appropriate will and supplemental needs trusts, protecting governmental benefits, reducing professional costs, preparing letters of intent, avoiding family conflict, social environments and guardianship.

Presenter will be Dave Reedstrom, a disability planning specialist. Refreshments will be served.
